Selected projects

Two projects, each with the problem, the work and the result.

2025

Testing covers before print

The problem. Covers were chosen in a meeting, and nobody knew which ones actually sold books.

What I built. A quick reader test that shows two covers to 500 newsletter readers and tracks which one gets clicked.

The result. Tested books now see 22% more preorders, and the test runs for every new title.

2022

From newsletter to sale

The problem. The newsletter went to 90,000 readers, but no one could say if it sold a single book.

What I built. A report that follows each newsletter link through to the bookstore order.

The result. The team cut two sections nobody clicked and doubled down on author interviews.
